Mightier

Mightier is a biofeedback video game platform that helps kids to learn emotional regulation through play. Mightier focuses on building muscle memory through a process called automaticity. Automaticity is when a behavior is repeated so frequently that it can be done more easily and with less cognitive demand over time, just like walking or brushing teeth. In Mightier, kids are practicing the skill of bringing their heart rate up and down frequently enough to build muscle memory for emotional regulation. This process tends to take six to eight weeks of consistent play. While playing, the UI displays heart rate, which strengthens the connection between brain and body.

Mightier is the result of over a decade of clinical research at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
